Trisha is planning to have a quiet birthday which falls on May 4. Trisha has planned a day out with cancer afflicted children at the Cancer Institute in Adyar and also take part in blood donation camp organised by her fan club. She said that she has no intention of throwing a party this time, instead spend the evening with her close friends. On April 28, her Adavari Matalaku Ardhale Verule was released in Andhra and it has received a good opening. It has been five years since Trisha came to movies and has acted in 24 films in Tamil and Telugu and is rated to be the most sought after actress.

Trisha the ace twinkling star will be dazzling brightly with Chiranjeevi in Sankar dada zindabad after her success with him in Stalin. On May 4th this year, this slim seductress will be celebrating her birthday with her fans. Trisha has a bevy of impressive projects lined up. Exhibitors who have been struggling with high prices and less crowds are now smiling after about 9 months since the last overseas hits - Bommarillu/Pokiri. Telugu movie lovers are back to theaters to show their pride towards a good movie, which was missing for past few months. All the seven centers where AMAV is screening, had to accommodate extra shows because of the huge turnout. This film is expected to have lot of repeat values, as it is clean family entertainer. The question now, Is AMAV driving towards as the biggest hit in Overseas?

Park Theatre,Fremont stands out as best first week center in USA:The huge capacity Park Theatrr was jam packed for all the shows screened so far on Friday/Saturday. ALL SHOWS WERE SOLD OUT ON FRIDAY & SATURDAY. This is a record for any Telugu film in Silicon Valley. The thrilled theater management have decided to add more shows during the week days. More than 1500 people watched the film until Saturday.

All shows are sold out: NJAll shows for the weekend (Fri/Sat/sun) were sold out by Friday noon it self. There were no extra shows on Friday due the other big release (Hindi). Exhibitors arranged extra show at 8.30pm o Saturday, which was sold out instantly. There will be at least two extra shows on Sunday, one each on Mon-Thus. The turnout is exceptional and expected to be the one of the top grosser in NJ.

Huge Success in Detroit: More than 1000 people watched the movie on Saturday alone and there were some return crowd due to tickets unavailability. According to Mike, Owner of Livonia Cinema, the huge capacity screen was full only once in the past and that was for a Hindi film (Kabhi Kushi Kabhi Ghum), few years ago. Exhibitors had to put quiet a few extra chairs to accommodate people who drove from long distance. The 550 capacity theater was jam packed for the 9.30pm show. It is expected to be the biggest hit in Detroit. There will be one extra show each on Sunday to Thursday to meet the demand. The anxious film lovers after getting the tickets chanted 'Govindaa Govindaa' hoping to a get a better seat in the theater.

Best ever openings in Atlanta for any Telugu film: Irrespective of the movie rating people thronged to the theater and all three shows were sold out (one on Friday/ two on Saturday). Due to others commitments, the theater management was not able to accommodate additional show, hence there was lot of return crowd. There were people standing for the second show on Saturday. About 1100 people watched the movie for just three shows, which is highest for any Telugu film in Atlanta so far.

Thrilling openings in Chicago:Despite the shows got cancelled on Friday due flight delay, the turnout was greatest in Chicago's Telugu film history. 3 out of 4 shows were sold out. The one after noon show was 80% full. Audience were much excited and made lot of noise, particularly the scenes involving Color's Swathi and Venky. The crowd response was splendid for other scenes introducing Venky to Vasu's family, That 10 minutes stood out as the best part of crowd excitement.

Sold out in Minneapolis:Friday shows got cancelled due to flight delay and Minneapolis crowd showed the strength of the Telugu community in the city on Saturday. There were close to 1000 excited people thronged to the theater just for two shows. The surprised exhibitors have decided to screen the movie again in 1-2 weeks, by looking at the response on Saturday.

Aadavari Matalaku Ardhale Verule - Slice of life (Review)

Venkatesh is at a stage of his career where nothing really matters except challenging characters and good scripts. That is why he has taken time to do this movie with Selvaraghavan. The latter is a big name in Tamil for his searing and intense reflections of life of those living in the underbelly of the society.
This is Selvaraghavan’s acid test as he is directing a big star for the first time. Selvaraghavan has an innate understanding of the medium and threshes out the right emotions and feel always.

Aadavari Matalaku Ardhalu Verule, as the title suggests, will be a women-centric domestic story with the right feel and fervour for Venkatesh.Venkatesh is paired with Trisha for the first time. Venky plays a man named Ganesh while Trisha is an aggressive career-minded girl.
Sriram (Srikanth in Tamil) has a very important character Kota Srinivasa Rao, Nadia Moidu, Sivaji and Vishwanath are also in the cast. Genelia is said to be playing a surprise guest appearance.Venky says he was delighted to work with a professional like Selvaraghavan. The latter, on his part, echoed a similar feeling.

Selvaraghavn who got married to actress Sonia Agarwal during the film’s shoot, did not take much time off, and was back to shoot very quickly.The chemistry between Venky and Trisha is also said to be very interesting and was one of the reasons why the film is carrying good reports.
Yuvan Shankar Raja has composed the music for the film. Editing is handled by Anthony while cinematography is handled by Arvind Krishna. The three are thick friends of Selvaraghavan. Their association in Tamil is now stuff of legend.The entire film has been shot at several locations in India including Chennai, Hyderabad, Rajamundry and Bangalore.
The film is produced by NV Prasad and Sanam Naga Ashok Kumar in the banner of Sri Saideva Productions.

Not that she wants to be married into a joint family, but Trisha seemed to have simply loved her experience of being in one on the sets of Adavari Matalaku Arthalu Verule.
Touted to be a big summer Telugu release, Selvaraghavan’s Adavari Matalaku Arthalu Verule hit the theatres yesterday, April 27, 2007.

The movie stars Trisha and Venkatesh in the lead cast alongside a whole bunch of 40 actors and is being promoted as a family entertainer – which is a rare genre these days in Telugu cinema subjugated with romantic and action movies.

“My upbringing was in a nuclear family consisting only me and my parents”, Trisha stated as a matter of fact. “I had a great time on the sets of the movie and consider this movie close to my heart”, she chimed while narrating her experience for Adavari.
Now that her commitments for Adavari is over, Trisha is likely to be spotted a lot in Kodambakkam especially on the sets of her upcoming Kreedom. Besides, her birthday around the corner (May 4th) the girl has plans to make as well.

Trisha opts out of `Don`!

It is official now that Trisha is not going to act with Nagarjuna' in his soon-to-be launched Don. She was earlier signed on the film but now the makers are on the look out for another heroine to replace her. Producer M. L.Kumar Chowdhary has confirmed that Trisha is not doing the film. Says Chowdhary: "We are still on the look out for a heroine. We are considering Mamta Mohandas but nothing has been finalized." Trisha has been made the scapegoat for the colossal failure of Sainikudu. Added to this, her other release in 2006, Pournami was also a disaster. Though Stalin was above average, it did not help her to improve her ratings. When contacted Trisha said: “ I tried my best to adjust my dates for Don. Unfortunately, I am not in a position to give immediate dates due to my prior commitments. I am doing Adavari Matalaki Arthalu Verule with Venky, till the end of the month." She added: " My Bheema with Vikram is starting again by the end of the month. Then there is Kireedam in Tamil with Ajit. I am getting a lot of offers from Telugu and Tamil but will take a call on it only after I complete my present films by March end.” Trisha immediately needs to reinvent herself to be in the race. We are sure that this talented actress will make a strong come back with Adavari Matalaki Arthalu Verule which insiders say is shaping out superbly. The film is sure to make her bounce back.

Trisha is in Las Vegas, famous for it Casino’ and is the gambling capital of the world. She is having a great time, at Vegas along with Kiru, Divya and Akila, her best friend at Church Park School in Chennai now settled in US.

They spent the New Year eve playing on the Slot machines, Roulette, and Video poker games. Vegas is considered by many to be the best place in the world to have a New Year vacation.

They visited some of the most famous Casino’s in the world like Aladdin, Hilton, Planet Hollywood and had a “Whale of a time”. Tomorrow the gang plans to go on a sight seeing trip of “The Grand Canyon”.
Trisha spoke from Vegas: - “I am having a blast, the weather here is great and all of us are taking a well deserved break.”
Trisha will be back in Chennai after her US holiday, by the end of the week. She will be joining the shoot of Selvaraghavan’ s Telugu film next week in Hyderabad.

If sources are to be believed Nagarjuna's Don will start rolling from January 18th. Contrary to reports in media, the heroine has not yet been finalized. Earlier Trisha was signed on for this film but she's no longer doing the film. A newcomer would best suits the role is what unit members say. Hence Mamata Mohandas is seriously being considered but nothing has been decided. Directed by Lawrence, the film will project hero Nagarjuna in a complete different manner. Lawrence is turning music director with this film and he is already said to have composed few songs.

"I feel jealous of Simran. She is very sincere artist. No other actress performs like her, be it in a glamorous character or performance character. In Tollywood Trsiha started her career with young stars. The very first Tollywood movie of Trisha is Nee Manasu Naaku Telusu with Tarun. It was made in Tamil and latter dubbed into Telugu. It was her second film Varsham that gave her a big break here. Even before Varsham she was a well established in Tamil. Then followed movies with Sidhartha, Mahesh Babu, and Nitin and again with Prabhas. Stalin was her first film with big star. She paired with Megastar in Stalin.

The details of the film have not been disclosed to the press so far. The producers of Vasantham, Shanam Naga Ashok Kumar and NV Prasad are producing this film. It will be out in February most probably for Sivarathri. Trisha is the heroine. The talkie part has been mostly completed. Due to Selvaâ€™s wedding there will be a gap in December and that time Venkatesh will participate in the shooting of Tulasi.

The Maheshbabu-Trisha starrer 'Sainikudu' directed by Gunasekhar and produced by C Aswinidutt on the banner of 'Vyjayanti Movies' was released on November 30 across the world and is running successfully.

As Maheshbabu's earlier flick 'Pokiri' created a record overseas, there was a good craze on 'Sainikudu' abroad. In order to please his fans staying abroad, Maheshbabu had gone to the US to take part in the premiere show of 'Sainikudu'.

He says, 'I had a strong feeling that I am amidst Telugu audiences in Andhra and not in the US. The audiences had proved the greatness of Telugus even while staying abroad. I am sure that 'Sainikudu' would enthrall one and all. It is running successfully right from small towns and villages where the film hit the screen in Andhra Pradesh and the same is the case with abroad. I thank everyone for their cooperation in this regard and I am dedicating the success of the film to the audiences. If I get a chance, I will again visit the US and meet the Telugus here.'
